Living in the Silicon Valley where the weather is beautiful with the mountains, sea, and all year round sunshine and cool breeze… I can get caught up with a feeling of overwhelm to move and do things faster and on time, no matter what.
I’ve realized that only I can slow this moment of time down – right now, right here – by taking a breath, noticing if my body is in fight or flight tightened stance and let it go and direct my body to relax. I can keep doing the things I am doing with a slower mind and calm body.
Ironically, the amount of things that get done are almost the same or more than when I feel rushed or overwhelmed.
The pearl of the day is no one will slow life down for you or take care of you – except for YOU!
